How to Join a Band in London as a Vocalist

You can hold a tune. You know your range. What you do not have is a band.

Finding one as a singer is its own kind of hard. Guitarists can jam alone. Singers need other musicians in the room before they can do anything at all.

Why it is harder for vocalists

Most bands already have someone who "sort of sings." That leaves genuine vocalists competing for a handful of open slots, usually found through word of mouth or a Facebook post that gets buried in an hour.

What you actually need

A band that is built around a full line-up from day one, not one hoping a singer turns up eventually. That means a rehearsal space already booked, other musicians already committed, and someone steering the whole thing so you are not left managing four schedules on top of your own.
