Three steps. Twelve weeks. One live show. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you sign up.
See how it works

Before you start
Before you are placed in a band, one of our professional band directors spends time with you in person. They get to know your playing level, the music you love, and what you want from the term.
It is a conversation, not an audition. No pressure. The whole point is to understand where you are so we can match you into the right band with the right people.
12 weeks
You are placed in a band of 4 or 5 musicians, matched by ability and musical taste. Your band director sets the setlist from songs each member suggests, assigns parts that suit everyone's level, and guides the band through the full term.
Before any slots are booked, we check that the timing and location work for everyone in the band.
This is not a session where you are left to figure it out yourselves. Your band director actively guides every rehearsal, helping each musician improve individually and pushing the band to gel as a unit.
Every session is recorded and shared so you can practise at home between rehearsals.
End of term
Every term ends with a full set at an iconic London venue. Family and friends come along. A professional sound engineer is there on the night.
This is the moment that makes the whole term worth it.
What's next
After the gig, it is entirely up to you. Keep going with the same band into the next term, move to a new band, or step away from the programme. Most people roll over. No pressure either way.
When we run
Each term runs for 3 months and ends with a live show. You can join at the start of any term.
